If you’re 40+ and looking for a solo cruise or a luxury getaway for two, this is your invitation.

On my Solo+Together Cruise, you’ll have space to unwind alone and with a group of kind, fun travelers when you want to connect. Over the years, I’ve learned that the best cruises are the ones where laughter flows like champagne, conversation comes easy, and you never feel like the odd one out. That’s what this cruise group is all about.

There’s still time to join us, but not for long.

Join Me On A Luxury Cruise for Solo Travelers 40+ and Couples

Are you 40 and over, solo or happily coupled, and craving a travel experience that blends independence with fun, laughter, and community? Then, this is the cruise you’ve been waiting for.

This December, I’m hosting a one-of-a-kind group vacation called Solo+Together – a luxury cruise for adults 40+ who want the freedom to explore on their own, but also want a built-in community of friends for when you want to kick back, have some fun, and connect.

It’s the best of both worlds. Prefer solo exploration during the day? You’ll have plenty of time to do that. And when you’re ready to meet up with the group again – for dinner or shows or cocktail hour or just a few laughs – we’ll be there to hear all about your day and celebrate the good times with you.

Whether you’re traveling solo after a big life change, newly retired, enjoying empty-nester freedom with your partner, or just looking to meet new travel friends after 55, I’ve got you covered.

Why I Created the Solo+Together Cruise Group

Fun night out for group cocktails after dinner

After years of sailing the high seas and curating unforgettable getaways, I noticed something missing from the typical cruise experience: a space where independent travelers and couples 40 and over could feel welcomed, comfortable, and connected – without sacrificing privacy, quiet time, or luxury.

That’s what Solo+Together is all about.

It’s a balance. It’s a breath of fresh sea air. And best of all – it’s a community you’ll want to cruise with again and again.

Who Is This Cruise Perfect For?

  • Solo travelers 40 and over who want to explore new destinations (with a safety net of good company)

  • Couples over 55 looking to meet fellow travelers and enjoy a more social cruise experience

  • Empty nesters, retirees, widows, divorcees, and adventure-seekers ready for connection, laughter, and luxury

  • Anyone craving genuine connection, unforgettable sunsets, and a whole lot of laughter

We’ve already got a wonderful group forming – people from all walks of life who are warm, welcoming, and excited to set sail together. And let me tell you, these folks know how to make a toast and share a good story.

What’s Included in the Experience?

Here’s what I’ve planned to make this cruise unforgettable:

  • Group cocktail hours

  • Fun theme nights and get-to-know-you games AND PRIZES!

  • Plenty of solo time for spa visits, naps, journaling, or a piña colada on the Lido Deck

I’ve carefully designed this itinerary to offer both independent travel and meaningful connection, and you get to choose how much of each you want.

Our Ship: MSC Grandiosa

We’re sailing aboard the MSC Grandiosa, one of their most luxurious ships. Elegant, welcoming, and beautifully designed, it blends European style with American comfort, and it’s absolutely perfect for both first-time cruisers and seasoned travelers.

For this Solo+Together journey, I thought long and hard about the cruise line I wanted to sail with, and I chose MSC because it’s one of my absolute favorite cruise lines that I know will pamper you right – and I want y’all to indulge and enjoy on this vacation.

Onboard, you’ll find:

  • Four sparkling pools, nine whirlpools, and a full-service spa

  • The Wild Forest Aqua Park (yes, it’s as fun as it sounds!)

  • International dining alongside Southern-style favorites

  • Cozy bars and lively lounges, perfect for making new friends

  • The spa for sauna sessions, beauty treatments, and massages

FAQs: I’ve Got You Covered

Is this cruise just for singles?

Not at all! It’s for anyone traveling solo or as a couple, especially if you’re 40 and over. Even someone on the fence about traveling solo for the first time will enjoy this group.

I’m nervous about not knowing anyone – what if I don’t fit in?

Darlin’, that’s exactly why I created this group. I’ll be there to welcome you, introduce you around, and make sure you feel right at home. You may be arriving solo, but you’ll be leaving with a whole bunch of new friends.

Will I have alone time?

Absolutely. You’ll have the freedom to join group events or relax in your own space. No pressure, just good people and great options based on what works for you.

What if I don’t “click” with the group?

You’ll still have an incredible vacation with your own cabin and itinerary, but truth be told, every cruise I’ve been on ends with hugs, happy tears, and lifelong friendships.

Are the drink packages on board worth it?

Buying a package or paying à la carte really depends on your personal preference. If you’re unsure, my review of the MSC cruise drink packages may help guide you.

We’ve already got a nice group started with half of our cabins booked, and let me tell you, this is shaping up to be one of my favorite travel groups – I can’t wait to set sail this December and kickstart the holidays together with fun and laughter!

Warmly,

Jenny Lynn Anderson
